The artists, they draw… and singers can’t sing
Prophets take guesses in what time will bring.
The people take pride, pretend to believe
That justice and law will always succeed.
The water has risen, some bodies won’t float
They were too busy sleeping, instead of building boats.
So now washed away, due to their own time,
Some say they’re happier now than they were alive.
But those who have made it cannot take the chance
Of diving underneath to get their lives back.

Much high, it will rise, there is no more surface.
The wish for a drought is more than absurd.
All earth’s creatures have vanished, excluding a few:
The survivors, the fish, the cheaters and birds.

Destiny was stitched like dirty sheets, sewn with weak yarn
A knitted secret buried beneath the old abandoned barn.
Now rising up and floating through waves
The chilling message was uncovered that day.

You can’t skip a stone if they’re all sunken under.
Even the captain steering is in deep wonder.
