because i tried to tell the real news.
Getting threats through the phone, damn leave me alone
Sometimes the truth comes in different views.
The city's fallen flat as we live like rats
using what is left to survive.
As the country falls, some sit and scratch their balls
the few others try and stay alive.
Girl, you don't need to fit or have gigantic tits
break the boundaries of what should be right.
Guys, Don't act dumb or turn your brains numb
and turn your flags upside down tonight.
Our country's in distress, shackled in a mess
and all I got was this lousy watch.
It's telling me it's time, the pres. commits the crimes
while the press prints stories from the "boss"
On the field of war some soldiers will wear sore
other fighters are called revolutionaries.
No matter who holds the gun, don't turn your back and run
eveen though these fucked up times are scary.
Kids don't cut your wrists and arabs aren't terrorists,
last time i checked it was the CIA.
The quicker we take our country back
the quicker we will wake to a better day.
