Home>Compilation Album:
I'm going to be putting together a free compiliation of music
soon for politically charged artists.
Contact me if you are interested for this project (email
me or
message me on myspace http://www.myspace.com/leemonstersear)
The main
goal is getting truth/realness and all different kinda of music genres out to
people
(Tearing down the dividing lines and showing unity between musicians for
the right to question). This is both for the musician and listener's advantage.
You'll gain exposure while people will get free music. I'm going to try and
make this
a big project once started, so submissions and artists are appreciated.
There'll more than likely be several series of discs avaiable online,
so each musician can have two songs featured on one album.
More updates coming soon!
" I am working on a project to compile many artists, be
it hip hop, punk, polka, spoons! (okay not spoons...)
basically any audio artform that is involved in making people aware. To take
people's thoughts away from the
useless b.s. that is deemed to be "important" to the masses and try
to show light on this idea for a one world
government and all of the effects that are planned/coming about.
Basically, songs to make you think... something that makes people start to question,
to realize
they are not alone in thinking that what is going on in the world is not right
and that all of the pieces
are not going to go together before they are noticed by the public and that
we all equally have a chance
to make a change.
It is very obvious that there is no upper level to a pyramid if there is no
bottom to hold
them in place.
I’ve noticed tons of musicians speaking from their hearts and trying to
make a change in the world.
But they hardly get a chance to get their voices heard. What is normally over
the airwaves and spreading
through transmissions? All of these materialistic repeat songs about booze,
sex, fucking and cell phones.
The music to keep a nation dumbed down. To keep a bag over your head with an
I-pod playing away while
your rights are kidnapped and fences are built around your consciousness.
Here is my idea:
What I am planning is making a number of compilations in different series involving
politically fueled musicians
and spoken word artists. For a chance to allow their message to spread, and
voices to be heard.
Using many peer to peer networks, free hosting sites and the always reliable
archive.org website I was planning
on organizing all of these artists onto compilations and posting them up for
completely free available online.
Allowing the songs to be downloaded, played by whoever wants to through net
radio, to be burned,
eaten, etc. Just as long as the proper names, titles and so forth are kept to
the respectable artist. I have
talked to quite a few for this project already but not enough to get it going
really.
We’re definitely in a time where voices need to be heard and soon enough
it will probably be some sort
of terror crime to mention key words in songs, artwork and various formats.
Many people are starting to realize
certain critical information, and many people are also trying to stop that from
happening as well.
It is time to stop the fear and just say what you’re going to say.
Any recommendations, submissions or people who want to help
plan this or come up with ideas are more than
welcome to contribute."
